Hao's storied life has seen her fleeing Vietnam as a Boat People, graduating in Business Informatics (MIAGE) and working as an I.T. Analyst in Paris, studying meditation with zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, training in Ballet with Rodolphe Cassand, practicing Movement Based Expressive Arts Education and Therapy with Anna Halprin, and ultimately founding HaoExpression to give people of all backgrounds a safe haven to express themselves artistically.
In the later phase of her journey, Hao has been recovering from cancer. Teaching and taking ballet classes during cancer treatments has helped her navigate the physical and emotional ups and downs of healing. Hao, a mix of creativity, tenderness and talent. Hao is one of the most humble, sincere, courageous, and caring person I am blessed to call a friend. She is a single mom entrepreneur. She has devoted to sharing her life-long passion for the arts by operating a small dance studio and children's theater programs so that everyone in the community has a chance to experience the joy and healing power of dancing and movement expressions. |
Hao Lueckhoff is a very special and talented ballet teacher and choreographer. Hao calmly and patiently provides nurturing individual support and encouragement to her students. Her extensive background in yoga and meditation is reflected in her teaching approach. Hao teaches ballet technique and movements in a holistic and clear manner that students can understand. She skillfully explains human anatomy and body mechanics in relationship to proper ballet technique. Hao’s deep passion for ballet and creative expression inspires and challenges her students to reach their potential. Hao communicates a joy that is contagious. |
