​Katie Wolfe is from San Carlos, CA and trained with Academy of American Ballet in Redwood City and Professional Ballet School under the direction of Carmela Zegarelli Peter and Zoltan Peter. She acquired her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma in 2020, where she worked with choreographers such as Trey McIntyre and Amy Hall Garner and was also selected to perform with Oklahoma City Ballet’s Studio Company in Robert Mills’ Romeo and Juliet. Katie then joined the second company of Kansas City Ballet for two seasons, performing with the main company in productions such as Devon Carney’s The Nutcracker, Michael Pink’s Dracula, Septime Webre’s Wizard of Oz, Lila York’s Celts, and George Balanchine’s Serenade. She joined Madison Ballet as an apprentice in 2022 and was promoted to company artist in 2024, where she performed featured and ensemble roles in many classical and contemporary works. Katie currently works as a freelance dancer and teacher based in the Bay Area.
